Georgetown Eagles to open football season Friday against Temple

By Joe HambyGeorgetown High School’s football team will open its 2026 season against the Temple Wildcats at 7 p.m. Friday, August 28, at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor’s Crusader Stadium in Belton. The neutral-site venue is about a 33-minute drive from Georgetown.
