A lesser-know county resident — the Bone Cave harvestman spider — received continued protection as an endangered species from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service earlier this week.
The eyeless spider lives in the caves found across much of western Williamson County’s underground landscape, and was up for potential removal from the Endangered Species Act this year.
