After four years of work from Georgetown city staff and volunteers, Georgetown City Council approved the city’s new Unified Development Code on its first reading during the July 28 city council meeting.

For 25 years, Faith in Action has helped Georgetown-area seniors maintain their independence by connecting them with volunteer drivers and essential services like health care, groceries and community.

Gabriel Kohn soars as Troop 405’s newest Eagle Scout

Gabriel Kohn, age 18 and a graduate of Georgetown High School, recently completed his Eagle Scout Board of Review at Christ Lutheran Church. He is Troop 405’s 200th Eagle Scout.Gabe joined Troop 405 on March 1, 2019, after earning his Arrow of Light Award as a Cub Scout.
