    The Irreverent Warriors group took a 6.1 mile Silkies Hike through Georgetown on Saturday, September 21. The hike began and concluded at VFW Post 8587 on College Street.

    The mission of Irreverent Warriors to bring veterans together using humor and camaraderie to improve mental health and prevent veteran suicide.  Upcoming Silkies Hikes will be held in Houston (10/5), New Braunfels (10/19), San Antonio (11/2) and Killeen (11/9).
