    The Williamson County Art Guild artist reception and holiday party is 5-7 p.m., December 5, at 708 South Rock Street, one block off the Georgetown Square. The event coincides with First Friday activities in downtown Georgetown.

    Special musical guest will be Michael Alexandersson, a local singer from Salado who was a contestant on “The Voice” and entertains with his smooth voice and classic oldies. …
