Bryan Mitchell (Mitch) Foust

Bryan Mitchell (Mitch) Foust, age 53, of Liberty Hill, Texas, passed away on August 17, 2026.

Born on September 23 in Austin, Texas, he was the beloved son of Larry and Maydale Foust and the cherished brother of Steve and Dana Green and Ricky and Molly Tumlinson. He was a loving dad to Chandler.

Mitch graduated from Liberty Hill High School and attended for a couple of years at Tarleton State University. He worked many jobs in the field of construction. In 1998, Mitch and his family started Royal Vista Inc. where he worked as an estimator for underground utilities.

Growing up, Mitch enjoyed playing sports. He played soccer, football, baseball and basketball. Mitch never lost his love for baseball and enjoyed watching baseball games at any level on TV. One of his favorite books was Chicken Soup for the Baseball Fan’s Soul. He took comfort reading inspirational stories about overcoming challenges. In the last few months, Mitch read his Bible faithfully.

Mitch’s one true passion was being around the rodeo arena. He enjoyed team roping over the years and won many events throughout his life. His favorite memories were being able to hang out at the arena with his friends and cousins. He loved reliving those memories even in his final days and longed to be able to get on a horse and rope just one more time.

Mitch was a loyal friend, a dependable confidant, and a constant source of support for everyone who knew him. His quick and infectious smile could light up any room and his kindness touched everyone he met. He would give you anything you needed without hesitation and without expectations.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Wesley and Imogene Foust and JE and Etna Mae Owen. He is survived by his parents Larry and Maydale Foust; his siblings Steve and Dana Green and Ricky and Molly Tumlinson; his daughter, Chandler Foust; nephews Clayton Green and Wyatt Tumlinson and nieces Kaitlyn Scharinger, Avery Tumlinson and Stephanie Green. Along with many extended family members and dear friends who will miss him deeply.

Though Mitch’s time with us was cut short, the impact he made will last forever. His presence will live on in the countless lives he touched and the memories we hold dear. We will miss you terribly, Mitch, but we are grateful for the time we had. Next time we see you, it will be forever.
