August 4, 1957 – August 27, 2026 Cassandra Ernsbarger, age 69, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026, in Round Rock, Texas. She was born on August 4, 1957, in Houston, Texas, the beloved daughter of Harry Earl Browning and Virginia Matilda (Esper) Browning.
Cassandra treasured her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, and proud Gigi. She shared 37 years of marriage with her beloved husband, Steven, and together they built a family grounded in love, devotion, and lasting memories. She had an exceptional career in the airline industry before devoting herself to being a stay-at-home mom. She was a faithful friend, the glue that held her family together, and loved her Lord, Jesus Christ with all her heart.
Cassandra is survived by her husband, Steven; her daughters, Meghan Murphy and husband Ryan of Belton, and Mary Rice and husband Jonathan of Waco; and her five beloved grandchildren, Nathan, Honora, Benjamin, Emerson, and Crawford, each of whom brought her immeasurable joy and pride. She is also survived by her brother Harry E. Browning, Jr. and wife Jenny of Pasadena, Texas, a sister-in-law Gloria Morpheu of Roseburg, Oregon, and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Rhys Murphy; her parents, Harry Earl Browning and Virginia Matilda Browning; and her brother, Michael Morpheu.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Temple Bible Church, 3205 Oakview Drive, Temple, Texas. A Celebration of Life will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church.
