Robert G. “Bob” Katusak, 81, a resident of Georgetown Texas (formerly of Binghamton), passed on to his eternal reward August 1, 2023, after a sudden illness.

He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Mary (Vint) Katusak, and his sisters, Evelyn Katusak, Margaret Charsky (Matthew), Marion Madden (Robert), and Theresa Wall. He is survived by his wife Concetta (Connie), daughters Kim Hartman (Scott) of Seattle, Washington and Kendra Lewis (Richard) of Marietta, Georgia, and sons Robert of Brownsville, Texas and Richard (Theresa) of Burnet, Texas, and his brother and sister-in-law, Andrew Katusak (Betty) in Florida. He was greatly blessed with 11 grandchildren and a great grandson.

Bob enjoyed a long career with IBM, retiring in Texas after 30-years of service. Following his retirement from IBM he enjoyed working with Connie on their ranches, first in Leander, Texas, and then in Burnet,Texas, where he pursued his lifelong passion for building, constructing several homes and barns. Bob and Connie also built a successful equestrian businesses. In 2019 he put away his tools for good and fully retired to Sun City in Georgetown, Texas. He remained in touch with agriculture after 2019 taking a keen interest in his daughter-in-law Theresa’s vineyard. Bob also really enjoyed the casinos and horse racing. Just before his passing he recounted many fond memories of attending the horse races in the Finger Lakes and Saratoga Springs as well as the many Royal Flushes he collected playing video poker in Shreveport and Las Vegas.

Bob passed peacefully with his family by his side. His favorite music, Johnny Cash, was playing in the room and his favorite western, Gunsmoke, was on the TV. He will be missed.
