Patsy Lynn Martin, age 81, passed away in Chicago, Illinois, on July 3, 2025. Pat held a BA and MA in English from Sam Houston State University. She spent 27 years teaching English in Austin and LaPorte, and in 1998-1999 she was honored as “Teacher of the Year.

Michael Wayne Jones, passed away peacefully at home on July 22, 2025, in Tavira, Portugal. His devoted and loving wife, Paula, was at his side throughout his wellfought battle with cancer. She was talking to him and holding his hand as he took his last breaths.
