Francis V. Navarrette passed away peacefully in her sleep November 10, 2023, in Weir, Texas.  She was born June 4, 1928 to Floyd and Clemencia Valdez in Florence, Texas. Francis married Dario L. Navarrette September 30, 1949. She lived and worked on the farm for many years.

Janice Louise (Brown) Perry-Rhys was foremost a mom who loved her family and friends fiercely. She was born in Flint, Michigan, to Betty and Bennie Brown. She had a delightful sense of humor and an unfortunate love of horrible puns. She left us on August 31, 2023, at age 78.
