Billy Isaiah Mathews, 94, of Georgetown, Texas, went to be with his heavenly father on October 2, 2023, surrounded by his loving family and many friends.  Born January 30, 1929 in Concord, Texas, the son of Waymon and Della James Mathews and was the oldest of four siblings.

Jacob Wayne Owen, 25, of Lorena, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, October 2, 2023 after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Jake was born on September 9, 1998, in Waco, Texas to his proud parents, Craig and Teresa Owen.

Reverend Dr. Mary Ellanor Gaines, age 85, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2023, at The Wesleyan in Georgetown, Texas. She struggled with Parkinson’s Disease and other health conditions for a long time.

Charles Mervin Walker was born at his home on Queen Hill near Weir, Texas to Charlie and Bertha Walker on June 25, 1931. He went to elementary school in Weir and attended high school in Georgetown. Many days he rode his horse Dandy to elementary school.

Maynard Ray Huntley, 86, passed away peacefully on September 30, in Waco, Texas. He was born on January 18, 1937, in Grafton, Nebraska, the first child of Frederick (Fred) William Huntley and Helen Lucille (Glanz) Huntley. The family lived in Hastings, Nebraska from 1935 until their deaths.

Bobby Ray Keels passed away on October 1, 2023, in Georgetown, Texas. He was 97. Bob was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma to James Lee Keels and Nannic Gentry Keels on July 26, 1926. His family moved to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the following year.
