Mildred Rader Gatlin, age 97, passed away peacefully on October 28, 2023, in the afternoon at the Wesleyan Assisted Living Community. Her daughter, Mary Hearon, and dear friend, Mickey Fisher, were with her. She was born and raised in Georgetown, Texas.

Janice Louise (Brown) Perry-Rhys was foremost a mom who loved her family and friends fiercely. She was born in Flint, Michigan, to Betty and Bennie Brown. She had a delightful sense of humor and an unfortunate love of horrible puns. She left us on August 31, 2023, at age 78.

Shirley Kay Ussing

Shirley Kay Ussing of Georgetown, Texas a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away on October 27, 2023, at the age of 72.  Shirley spent her childhood in Ontario, Oregon, on a dairy farm where she developed a strong work ethic.

Randy Charles Doering, of Silver Spring, Maryland passed away at Washington Hospital Center on Saturday, October 21, 2023. Born on April 8, 1951, he was the son of Carl and Dolores Doering of Georgetown, Texas. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan (Anglin) Doering.

Emma Gean (Choate) Dossey passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023. She was born on September 5, 1937, in Port Neches, Texas. She was a graduate of Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur, Texas in 1956 and then attended Port Arthur Business College and Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

Bernice Becker Zreet

Bernice Becker Zreet, age 95, of Georgetown. Texas was was born April 28,1928 in Pflugerville, Texas, to Adolf and Edna Becker where she grew up on the family farm along with brothers Adolph “Sonny” Becker Jr., Wilbert Becker and sisters Freida Becker Woodland and Edline Becker McMains.

Bernice Ruth Arnold

Bernice Ruth Arnold (formally Bernice Jenkins) passed away peacefully on October 23, 2023, at the age of 88.  She was born on August 27, 1935, in Portsmouth, Ohio, the daughter of Reason and Cynthia (Boggs) Lyon and was the last of 12 children.
