Sun City celebrates Earth Day, Highlights benefits of recycling, native plants, conservation

Earth Day was Monday, April 22, and the Sun City Recycles Club hosted an event to educate the community about being green and how to better take care of the planet.

ROCK passes donation goal at Barn Dance

 - Phots by Nalani Nuylan   Ride Along Center for Kids surpassed its donation goal during the Saddle Up portion of the 18th annual Barn Dance, Saturday, April 6.    With an initial goal of $125,000, Saddle Up donors raised over $151,000. Funds will go to facility operations and supplies.
Roger Booker traveled from Maryland for the eclipse on Monday, April 8,2024, during a total eclipse event held at the Southwestern University campus.  A crowd of about 200 people show up to watch the transformation to a total solar eclipse a little after 1:30 p.m.  Expected rain held off until a little after 4:30 p.m.
