The Austin region is one of the strongest in Texas in terms of job growth, and job growth leads to population growth, which leads to enrollment growth in schools, Demographer Bob Templeton told Georgetown ISD trustees Monday, July 17.

Georgetown ISD Board of Trustees have named Taylor ISD superintendent Devin C. Padavil as the lone finalist for the GISD superintendency.  The announcement was made Monday, July 17. “We are excited to welcome Dr. Padavil to Georgetown,” Board President Elizabeth McFarland said.
