Williamson Museum Ghost ToursThrough October 19,  times vary (Friday and Saturday only)Learn about history, as well as ghost stories and haunted venues around the Square. Tickets are $15 for museum members and $20 for nonmembers. First-come, first served, limited to 20 people per tour.

Rec Center pool hosts annual K-9 Kerplunk

The end of summer is approaching, which means Georgetown Parks and Recreations K-9 Kerplunk party is on the horizon. Located at the Georgetown Recreation Center’s outdoor pool on September 7, owners can sign their pups up for one hour time slots to splash around the pool. The time slots are 10-11 a.

Rubber duck race raises money for GISD seniors

Georgetown’s branch of the American Association of University Women will host their ninth annual duck race on October 19. Participants can win up to $500. The race will begin at 11 a.m. at the San Gabriel River in San Gabriel Park.
The Williamson County Sheriff Posse Rodeo will host its annual event June 28-29 at the WCSP Arena, located on 1600 County Road 305 in Jarrell.

Escape the heat with annual Blazin’ Beer Crawl

Tickets for the 2024 Blazin’ Beer Crawl on the Square are now on sale, with both VIP and General Admission options. Both ticket options are for those 21 and up, identification will be checked at pickup. The event, which takes place on Saturday, August 3, from 3-6 p.m.
