In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., many organizations throughout the City of Georgetown are hosting events on January 15 to honor the impact and legacy of the civil rights leader.
Beginning at noon on the 15th, there will be a MLK Day March starting at the courthouse on the Square.

‘Boomtown’ gala for Florence boosters

The third annual Florence Chamber Gala is set for Saturday, September 23, at Reunion Ranch west of Georgetown.
The gala will serve a steak dinner, music by Jarrell's classic rock band JR’s Jukebox, live and silent auctions, raffle, a photo booth and a cash bar.
