Fondue a fun to-do for anniversaries

Fifty years ago, on Valentine’s Day, my husband Bill and I got married. Ironically, the No. 1 song at that time was “50 Ways To Leave Your Lover,” by Paul Simon! Anniversaries continue to crop up my columns. Sun City celebrates 30 years and the Palace has been part of Georgetown for 100 years.

Birthday burgers and cookie balls

Last week, I was happy to receive three new recipes from friends that I’ll share today. This first recipe comes from interior designer and friend, Dawn Hearn (a great cook!) who made it for her brother’s birthday. Instead of beef, these burgers use ground chicken and are delicious!
