Community, Georgetown council members cleans up after ice storm

Despite foggy skies and chilly temperatures, more than 50 volunteers gathered at the Berry Creek Racquet Club, 449 Champions Drive, Saturday morning to help neighbors cut and break down branches hanging from trees damaged by last week’s winter storm.

Georgetown fire, police chiefs outline growing demands, staffing needs

Georgetown City Council reviews parking garage designs

After receiving feedback from Georgetown’s Historical and Architectural Review Commission about the city’s incoming downtown parking garage, city council members showed support for designs that were shorter than those initially presented.

Georgetown receives feedback from public, council on Downtown Master Plan

The public received an overview of the city’s upcoming work to create a new Downtown Master Plan Tuesday, January 10.  “We’re here to talk about the Downtown Master Plan update and where we’re at in that process,” Downtown and Tourism Director Kim McAuliffe said.

Four development projects in Georgetown move ahead

Georgetown City Council approved rezoning requests and special use permits for several incoming developments during its November 22 meeting. Projects include an outdoor food vendor venue along Austin Avenue, a single-family subdivision and a townhome development.
