GISD trustee Stephanie Blanck resigns school board seat

Georgetown ISD trustee Stephanie Blanck announced her resignation from the school board Monday, January 12, while at trustees’ monthly board workshop.She has served almost two three-year trustee terms, first joining the board in November 2020. At the board workshop, Ms.

Georgetown ISD Bridges students step into new career field of cooking

Bridges, Georgetown ISD’s career training program for developmentally-disabled youths, is branching out into the world of cooking and dining.Partnering with GISD’s culinary program to learn vocational and life skills, Bridges now offers another pathway to independence for its students.

Georgetown ISD honors October Jack Frost Citizens

Georgetown ISD trustees recognized Jack Frost Citizens of the Month on October 20. The monthly award is given to outstanding high school seniors who demonstrate service, leadership and scholarship.
