At Georgetown ISD's Richarte High  School, 82 graduates received their diplomas Thursday, May 25. With others completing their course work this summer, the high school class will have 112 total graduates.

Follow the Light: For couple, Granger church restoration an exercise of passion, patience and preservation

It’s been quite a while since the last visit to what was once Granger First United Methodist Church, an iconic structure at the corner of South Granger and East Elm streets.   Since May is National Preservation Month, it’s a good time for a project update. A little backstory.

Marking History was presented by The Williamson Museum and Preservation Georgetown.  Docents dressed in period costumes gave visitors history about their years in Georgetown.

Granger celebrated with the community's annual Lakefest this past weekend, May 11-13. The rain expected on the first two days of the festival didn't materialize, but the town was soaked by early Saturday morning.
