Learn about the history of Georgetown’s native people

A history walk about the native peoples of Georgetown will be offered by local historian Helen Cordes on November 29. The walk will begin at 9 a.m. and attendees will walk the San Gabriel River path, about 1.75 miles with stops at benches.

Georgetown kicks off Phase 3 San Gabriel Park renovations

San Gabriel Park — considered the crown jewel among Georgetown’s city parks — is about to get better. City and Parks Department officials kicked off the third phase of San Gabriel Park renovations with a June 6 groundbreaking.

City, Georgetown residents talk impacts of Two Step Inn

Georgetown’s San Gabriel Park saw roughly 30,000 visitors each day of the Two Step Inn country music festival, which made its Georgetown debut April 15-16 in the park.
