Sun City honors community with Patriot Day event

Throughout Shilo Harris’ keynote speech at the Sun City Patriot Day Ceremony on September 11, his West Texas drawl filled stories of him hat shopping, recalling the importance of 9/11 and spending time with his family.

First responders honor September 11 victims

Georgetown Fire Department and Georgetown Police Department on September 11, 2025, climbed stadium steps at at Birklelbach Field during the Memorial Stair Climb held commemorating the 24th anniversary of the attacks on United States soil on September 11, 2001.
