Georgetown says to avoid water at Blue Hole, San Gabriel parks after line failure sends wastewater into river

On January 5 at 10 a.m., City of Georgetown Water Utility crews discovered a major wastewater line failure at the Wolf Ranch lift station. The 42-inch wastewater line is located in the south fork of the San Gabriel River, about a quarter mile west of I-35 and behind the Wolf Ranch shopping center.

New homes at Wolf Ranch underway

Construction is beginning on the third and final section of Wolf Ranch’s residential offerings. The West Bend development is situated on a 325 acre plot of land and will have 671 homesites.

Wolf Ranch 3D printed homes open to the public Saturday

The first of the 3D printed homes built by ICON and Lennar in Georgetown will be made available for public viewing on Saturday, July 22, with a welcome event from 11 a.m to 3 p.m. The neighborhood is located south of Highway 29 on the northside of Wolf Ranch Parkway at Legends Lane.

First impressions: Crowds give big thumbs up to new Wolf Lakes Village H-E-B

The shiny new H-E-B and its parking lot were filled Wednesday, June 7, when the company opened its long-awaited Georgetown store in Wolf Lakes Village. In a festive atmosphere with strolling mariachis, eager shoppers filled their baskets, snacked on samples and feasted on barbecue.

Georgetown's 3D printed homes in Wolf Ranch take shape

The first six homes in Georgetown’s first 3D printed community are set to hit the market this weekend. Prospective homebuyers can register for VIP drawing from June 5-9, and sales begin June 10.

Georgetown welcomes 3D printed homes in Wolf Ranch

In an attempt to cut construction costs and timelines, homebuilder Lennar is partnering with ICON — an Austin based home manufacturing company — to bring 3D printed houses to Georgetown. Once built, the 100 units planned will be sold as a part of the Wolf Ranch master planned community.
