One more opportunity to give in 2025

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving that takes place the Tuesday immediately after Thanksgiving. The effort serves as many nonprofit organization’s last push to raise funds for the year, and one last time to make a tax-deductible donation before the year’s end.

Georgetown Community Food Drive

Georgetown YMCA gets large donation from H-E-B

At the YMCA Camp Brightwell’s annual “Camp was a Flip” pancake breakfast on August 8, grocer H-E-B announced it would donate $500,000 toward the new Georgetown YMCA that is being built on Williams Drive near Wellspring Church. A portion of this donation will also fund scholarships for YMCA programs.

See a need, fill a need: Latter-day Saints donate to Wilco nonprofit

Liberty Hill nonprofit Yesterday’s Gone received a $114,000 grant Monday, June 16, that will allow the organization to add more tiny homes and community vehicles to serve women in need.The funds came from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Round Rock Stake and Round Rock East Stake.

The Caring Place seeks December donations

The Caring Place has released their wish list for the nonprofit’s Hunger Free Holidays Food Drive that takes place through December.  The Hunger Free Holiday campaign aims to fill the food pantry with the things it needs the most.  For December, The Caring Place is requesting hygiene items.
