Ronald Reagan Boulevard bridge opens

The newly constructed Ronald Reagan Boulevard bridge, which goes over Ranch to Market Road 2338 in Georgetown northwest of Sun City, opened to the public Tuesday, December 6. 

The Texas Department of Transportation announced the opening in a press release last week. 

According to the department, the new bridge is meant to improve safety and mobility “by allowing traffic on Ronald Reagan Boulevard to travel over the RM 2338 intersection without stopping.” 

The stop signs on RM 2338 will remain in place. Left turns from CR 248 will be prohibited.
