A development with a mix of multi-family and single-family housing — including 153 townhomes, 360 apartments and 127 single-family units — could be brought to northeast Georgetown’s extraterritorial jurisdiction through the Serenity Ranch Municipal Utility District.

Georgetown welcomes new industrial business park near airport

A 520,571-square-foot industrial park is being constructed near the intersection of Interstate 35 and Highway 130 in Georgetown. The Berry Creek Business Park will have three Class A buildings, according to commercial real estate companies Fidelis and Transwestern.

Georgetown resident guilty after selling drugs while out on bond

A Williamson County jury on Monday, July 15, found Eric Lon Jones, 31, of Georgetown guilty of delivery of methamphetamine. The following day, the jury sentenced Mr. Jones to 45 years in prison with a $10,000 fine after they heard additional evidence during sentencing. Mr.

Rising Georgetown High School senior Kamrin Gordon and 2024 GHS graduates Elizabeth McCallum and Brayden Boff earned the Outstanding Performer Award at the 2024 Texas State Solo and Ensemble Contest for solos in Voice, Harp and Timpani, respectively.The competition was held May 25 and 27.
