About 69 percent of the 448,421 registered voters in Williamson County participated in the November 5 general election. Wilco set records for early voting, with an estimated 232,000 voters casting their ballots ahead of election day, according to Elections Administrator Bridgette Escobedo.

One of the Williamson County District Attorney’s Office’s first interns has passed his bar exam. Christopher “Auggie” Alvarado was part of the county’s inaugural internship program, and is now a sworn member of the State Bar of Texas.

On a brisk November morning at Georgetown airport’s Cutter Aviation hangar, veterans and their spouses from The Oaks Gracious Retirement Living waited anxiously for their Dream Flight.
