Residents of the North Old Town neighborhood met with Georgetown city staff members November 17 to discuss changes to the city’s future land use plan for the area.

St. David’s recognized for health safety

St. David’s Georgetown Hospital received an “A” grade by the Leapfrog Group as part of its fall Hospital Safety Grades. St. David's HealthCare is the only hospital system to receive an “A” for all eligible facilities in the Austin area, according to the press release.

Historic clock rings again on the Square in downtown Georgetown

Visitors to the Square may have noticed the tolling of a bell not heard in years. The historic clock atop the Williamson County Courthouse has finally been repaired and rings out in roughly 15-minute increments from the bell on the east side of the dome.
