Wanda Jean Woody Wallace

Wanda Jean Woody Wallace, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Monday, October 17, 2022, at the age of 90.

A viewing to honor, her life will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2022, at Cook-Walden Funeral Home in Georgetown, Texas from 3-5 p.m.

Wanda was born July 24, 1932, in Lubbock, to O.A. and Lilian Woody, the oldest of three kids.

After graduating from Lubbock High, she married James (Pat) Wallace on March 7, 1952, and together they raised two children. She was a devoted mother, and a lover of all things antiques. Once her children were raised, she used that passion to open “Windfalls by Wanda” and split her time between both locations in New Mexico and Texas.

Wanda was known to all for her giving nature and sweet smile. She found many charities that were close to her heart and had a long list of people she prayed for daily.

Wanda was preceded in death by her son Russel, and her greatest love, Norman Dickason.

She is survived by her two children Rick Wallace (Jacque) and Randa Toungate; Grandchildren, Casey Ripa (Tony), Jayce Wallace (Emily), Kaylan Sukhendra (Joseph), Kensley Granados (Alex); and six great-grandchildren. Her siblings Dwayne Woody and Kay Gibert and her nieces and nephews who she was affectionately referred to as “Anie.”
