Dorothy Dolores Wilde of Georgetown, formerly of Corpus Christi and Comfort, passed away on February 27, 2023, at the age of 89. She was born on January 23, 1934, in Lasara, to Herman and Clara Wilde. Dorothy was raised in San Antonio, and graduated from Our Lady of The Lake University. She was a real estate broker and owner of Saratoga Trunk in Corpus Christi for many years. Dottie loved gardening, reading everything she could get her hands on, and going to church. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and her infant son, Russell. She is survived by her children Vanessa (Jon) Carey, Paul (Joan) Wimberly, and Kim Wimberly, and her grandchildren Nikki Carey, Austin Wimberly, Parker Wimberly, and Brendan Tober, and her dachshunds Sweet Pea and Baby Doll. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes memorial donations to be made to Central Texas Dachshund Rescue (CTDR.org). A graveside service will take place on Thursday, March 9, at 11:30 a.m. at Seaside Memorial Park in Corpus Christi.
