Marci Inman

Marci Inman was born February 1, 1960, to Jerry and Faye Brader in Angleton, Texas. She peacefully went to be with her Heavenly Father on March 5, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.

Upon graduation from Skyline High School in Dallas, Marci attended Abilene Christian University where she met her husband, Kris. They were blessed with more than 40 wonderful years together.

Kris and Marci started their lives together in Colorado Springs where they worshiped and served with the Eastside Church of Christ. What was supposed to be a short stint in Georgetown ended up being where they decided to raise their family. They owned B’s Hallmark Shop for many years and enjoyed close friendships built with customers and staff. Marci later worked for the Georgetown Church of Christ as the office manager where she loved being part of the church and serving anyone who would come through the doors.

Marci was full of life and joy, never meeting a stranger. She loved the Lord more than anything and you would often find her singing hymns, even in her last few years. She was the first to volunteer and cared deeply about those in need. She enjoyed working with the puppet ministry for children’s church as well as interpreting the worship service for the deaf.  She also loved serving with BiG, a ministry for adults with special needs.

Her children, Kelsey and Chase were her greatest pride and joy. She selflessly loved them and would talk about them to anyone who would listen. Her love and legacy will be passed down through them to her grandchildren. Her passing left an unfillable gap in the hearts of all her loved ones and she will be deeply missed.

Marci is survived by her husband, Kris; daughter Kelsey McDougal and her husband, Mitch; son, Chase Inman and his wife, Amy; and grandchildren, James and Riley Inman.

A memorial service will take place at 3 p.m. on March 12, at Georgetown Church of Christ, 1525 West University Avenue, Georgetown. Marci wanted this to be a celebration of her life and a joyful time now that she’s in heaven. Please join us in wearing something colorful to honor her. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to BiG (Brookwood in Georgetown).
