Danny L. Glenewinkel,69 passed from this life to join his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, May 9, 2023. Danny was born on June 5, 1953 in Austin, Texas. Danny married Joann Henson in 1984 and they eventually made their home in Georgetown,  with their three children, Destinie, Christopher and Scott. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, Joann Glenewinkel, son, Scott Henson, parents, Lois and Edgar Glenewinkel, brothers, Frank Glenewinkel and Bobby Glenewinkel. 

Danny is survived by his daughter, Destinie Bierbower and son in law, Jamie Bierbower, and his son, Christopher Henson.  Danny leaves behind 8 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. 

Danny was in the masonry business for 25 years before he began a career with Austin Energy, which he retired from in 2016. 

Danny was a giving man and made friends wherever he went.  He enjoyed walking miles and miles down his county road and spending hours scratching lottery tickets at his local convenience stores.  

We trust we will find comfort together as we remember Danny and his remarkable and vibrant life. 

Celebration of Life will be held at Andice Community Center:  6600 FM 970, Florence, Texas 76527 Saturday, June 3 at 11 a.m.
