On Friday, May 26, 2023, Irene Cardona Scheuer passed from this life to her reward in Heaven. Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, and she knew no strangers.
She leaves behind her husband, Charles Scheuer, Jr.; her daughter, Teri Salazar; her son, Woody Salazar; grandsons, Austin Salazar (Shellie) and Zander Salazar; her mother, Dubelia Cardona; her sisters, Effie Obregon, Alison Diana Torres (Roland), and Bernadette Gibson (Karl); and two nephews, Karl Richard C. Gibson and Seth A. Gibson. She is predeceased by her father, Richard B. Cardona; and her sister, Sister Olga Cardona.
A funeral mass commemorating Irene’s life will be on Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 10 a.m. at St. Helen Catholic Church, 2700 East University Avenue, Georgetown, Texas 78626.
