No Proposals shall be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after the opening of the bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding. Sealed proposals addressed to LENNAR HOMES OF TEXAS LAND AND CONSTRUCTION, LTD., ON BEHALF OF WEST WILLIAMSON COUNTY MUNICIPAL UTILITY DISTRICT NO. 2 (MUD), for the construction of LIVELY TRACT – PHASE 5 – WATER, WASTEWATER, AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS in Williamson County, TX, will be received at the office of Pape-Dawson Consulting Engineers, LLC., 10801 N MoPac Expy., Bldg 3, Suite 200 Austin, Texas 78759 UNTIL 3:00 P.M. A Cashier’s Check or Certified Check upon a national or state bank or Bid Bond payable without recourse to LENNAR HOMES OF TEXAS LAND AND CONSTRUCTION, LTD., in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total maximum bid price (Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond), must accompany the bid proposals as a guarantee that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will within ten (10) days of the award of the contract, enter into a contract and furnish an acceptable performance and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond will be forfeited and become the property of the Owner should the bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish bonds acceptable to the Owner within ten (10) days after award of the contract. The notice of award of contract shall be given by the Owner within sixty (60) days after the bid opening. The Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond must be enclosed in the same envelope as the bid. Bids without a Bidder’s Check or Bid Bond will not be considered. All bid securities will be returned to the respective bidders within seventy-two (72) hours after bids are opened, except the three most qualified bidders, which the Owner elects to hold until the successful bidder has executed the contract. Thereafter, all remaining securities, including security of the successful bidder after entering into a contract, will be returned within forty-five (45) days of the notice of award. The successful bidder must furnish performance bond and payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price from an approved surety company holding a permit from the State of Texas to act as surety (and acceptable according to the latest list of companies holding certificates of authority from the Secretary or the Treasury of the United States) and having Best Key Rating Guide of A or better.
No proposals shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening of the bids.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive all technicalities or formalities in the bidding process. The Owner also reserves the right to determine which bid is most advantageous, and to award the contract on this basis.
A maintenance bond to the City of Leander will be required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract and is to remain in force for a period of two (2) years from the date of final acceptance from the City. (Items within City of Leander ETJ).
A maintenance bond to West Williamson County Municipal Utility District No. 2 will be required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract and is to remain in force for a period of one (1) year from the date of final acceptance from the City.

The Board of Directors of North San Gabriel Municipal Utility District No. 1 (the District) will receive bids on the District’s $8,000,000 Unlimited Tax Road Bonds, Series 2024B on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 9:30 A.M., Austin, Time, at the offices of Specialized Public Finance Inc., 248 Addie Roy Road, Suite B-103, Austin, Texas 78746.
