Frank Douglas (Doug) Crockett

Frank Douglas ‘Doug’ Crockett of Round Rock, Texas, went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2025, at the age 0f 81 years and 11 months.  He was born in Shamrock, Texas, on August 3, 1943, to Mary King Crockett and Emory Dewey Crockett.  

Doug loved cooking, and he loved being with family and friends.  He was never happier than when he was feeding people with his own cooking or taking them out to eat.  He also loved working in his yard.  He was greatly loved by all who knew him.

Doug attended TCU and graduated in 1966.  He was employed by Air Products Inc. in LaPorte, Texas for 32 years and enjoyed his retirement for 23 years. 

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Janet Crockett of Round Rock. He is also survived by two brothers:  David Crockett and his wife Dixie Jo, and Dick Crockett and his wife Pam, both of McClean, Texas.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.

Interment will be private, and a Celebration of Life will be held in McLean, Texas later this summer.
