Margaret Wren Anderson
April 10, 1945 – August 11, 2025 Margaret Wren Anderson, 80, of Wimberley, Texas, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 11, 2025.
Born Margaret Wren Cooksey in Blackwell, Texas, she grew up in Georgetown, where she met and married Barney Anderson on August 22, 1964. The couple lived in Florida during Barney’s U.S. Air Force service before returning to Texas, eventually settling in Wimberley.
She was preceded in death by her son, Don Anderson. She is survived by her husband, Barney; daughter Sheri Huntington (Mark); grandchildren Zack Huntington, Tiffani Sukup, Holt Huntington, Dylon Anderson, and Ryan Anderson; and great-grandchildren Clayton, Wyatt, Nathan, Huxley, Indie, Brooklyn, Jett and Freyja.
Margaret will be remembered for her devotion to family and her warm, caring nature.
