Sharron Lee Whitman (Holcomb); An amazing and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to everyone that has been a part of her life passed away on September 4, 2025, in Conroe, Texas, after a brief illness.

Sharron was born on August 6, 1939, in Burbank, California, to Herbert W. Whitman and Viola D. (Hiatt) Whitman and spent her early childhood in Sylmar (Kagel Canyon), California, eventually being raised by her aunt in San Antonio, Texas, after the passing of her mother. After living the pioneer life on a farm outside Walberg, Texas, she moved to Georgetown, Texas, to be back in civilization.

Sharron is survived by her children and their families; James Grohman, Thomas (Marilyn) Grohman, Carole (Abraham) Salamah, Donald (Rhita) Akhardid (formerly Grohman) and Cheryl (Peter) van den Pol; sister Linda Jackson and her niece, Tammy (Gary) Sass and nephew Michael (Tracey) Jackson. Sharron is preceded in death by a son, Alphonsus Franklin Grohman Jr., who passed away at birth in 1960 and her husband Harold “Donny” Holcomb who passed away in 1989. The father of her children, Alphonsus (Al) Grohman passed away in 2014.

She is also survived by her grandchildren; Whitney (Alex Ramos) Grohman, Dillon Grohman, Bryan Grohman, Sara Salamah, Danny (Natalia) Salamah, Annie Serio, Natalie Serio, Jesse Akhardid-Weiland, and Sophia Akhardid-Weiland. And her great-grandchildren Omari Ramos Grohman, Ondre Ramos Grohman, and Kason Salamah.
