Robert Burnes Thomas
On Friday November 7, 2025, Robert Burnes Thomas passed away at the age of 66. Rob leaves behind his loving wife of 39 years, Paula Thomas and an adoring daughter Christi Thomas.
Rob’s departure has left a massive void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by his generosity and kindness. His journey on this earth was marked by selflessness and compassion. He had a way of always finding the positive in every situation and an intelligence and wit that was uncanny. True happiness was making those he loved and cared for happy. He was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
He is also survived by his sisters Carrie Jett, Hannah Wolbrueck, brothers, Samuel Thomas, Reb Thomas and Jeb Thomas. Among many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Rob was preceded in death by his mother, Carrie Lee Williams Thomas, father, Robert Oliver Thomas, children Ernest Doil and Victoria Lee Thomas and sister Lucy Thomas Payne.
The Graveside service was held on November 14, 2025, at IOOF Cemetery, Georgetown, Texas.
