December 25, 1956 – November 14, 2025

Jane Noel Evans Wilson, 68, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 14, surrounded by her family, at her home in Georgetown, Texas.

Born in Syracuse, New York, on Christmas Day 1956, Jane was a cherished gift to her family. She spent her early years in Dallas, Texas, and Minneapolis, Minnesota, graduating from Washburn High School before returning to Texas when her parents retired to Austin.

Throughout her life, Jane worked as a clerk in various businesses while raising her sons and embracing her role as the beloved “fun aunt” to her many nieces and nephews. Her warmth, humor, and generous spirit created countless cherished memories. She will be forever remembered with love.

Jane is survived by her husband, King V. Wilson; her sons, Quincy Wade (Courtney) of Georgetown and Lee Wade (Stephanie) of San Antonio; and her grandchildren, Kayla, Kamden, Jeremy, Isaac, and Isabella. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Evans Vargo of Georgetown; her brothers, David Evans (Robin) and Thomas Evans (Lori) of Minneapolis; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Betty Evans.

The family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the COPD Foundation or the American Cancer Society. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., with the Rosary beginning at 6:30 p.m. at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel.

Funeral Service will take place the following afternoon, Saturday, November 22, starting at 3:00 p.m., also at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel.
