Stephen Duncan-Smith, age 69, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2026, surrounded by love. Born on September 3, 1956, in Northwich, England, Stephen lived a life defined by dedication, quiet strength, and deep devotion to his family.
Stephen began his career with (Slim) ICI in Northwich, where his strong work ethic quickly became evident. He later continued his professional journey with Abbott Laboratories in Austin, Texas, where he was respected for his integrity and steady leadership.
Above all, Stephen was a devoted husband, a loving father to his two daughters, and a proud Gramps. His family was his greatest joy and purpose. In 1997, Stephen was diagnosed with CADASIL, a condition he faced with remarkable courage and resilience. Even in the face of health challenges, he remained steadfast, kind, and deeply loving.
Stephen will be remembered for his gentle heart, his dry sense of humor, and the unwavering love he gave so freely. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, faith, and devotion that will continue to live on in all who knew and loved him.
