Billy Wade Wiley (“Wild Bill”)

Billy Wade Wiley (“Wild Bill”), 73, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away peacefully at home on March 7, 2026, surrounded by loved ones.

Bill was born March 2, 1953, in College Station, Texas, to Robert and Louise Wiley and was raised in Jarrell. During his school years, he enjoyed playing football and baseball and spending time outdoors with friends. Later in life, he owned and operated a wrecker service and mechanic shop in Georgetown for many years before retiring due to health conditions.

Bill loved the simple things in life. He was an avid gardener who enjoyed sharing the vegetables he grew with friends and neighbors. He loved being outdoors and could often be found hunting, fishing, or simply enjoying time outside. His Golden Retrievers held a special place in his heart.

Those who knew Bill knew he could be a stubborn old mule when he set his mind to something—but beneath that stubborn streak was a heart of gold. He was fiercely loyal to his friends and family and always willing to lend a hand when it mattered most.

Bill is survived by his wife, Jackie; his sister, Lynda Maedgen (Mike); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Louise Wiley, and his brothers Jerry, Randy, Mike, Melvin, and Larry.

Visitation is Wednesday, March 11th from 5-7pm and funeral services will be held at Gabriels Funeral Home in Georgetown at 10am on Thursday, March 12th.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brooklynn Miller Foundation supporting children fighting cancer.
