Brenda (BJ) Ridge Konarik, 79, of Georgetown, Texas, passed away on April 9th, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.
Born on April 6th, 1947 in Alexandria, Louisiana, to Donald Ridge and Alberta Williamson, Brenda lived a life full of family devotion. She was a dedicated wife and a loving mother, grandmother and friend. Known for her generous heart, quick-witted humor and making others smile. Brenda loved cooking, bird watching and most of all being Grammy.
Brenda is survived by her husband Larry, sons Michael and Matthew and 9 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and siblings.
Visitation will be at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel in Georgetown on Tuesday, April 28th from 6pm to 8pm with the Rosary service at 7:00pm. Funeral service will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, April 29th at 10am followed by burial at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Donations should be made to the Michael J Fox Foundation.
