Brayden Robert Bolyard, 17, of Georgetown, and a Senior at Jarrell High School passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 28, 2023.
Brayden was born in Brownwood, on February 26, 2005. He spent his life growing up in Jarrell. He was a loving son to Kyle and Jessica Bolyard and he was looked up to by his little brother Riley Bolyard.
Brayden brought so much love and joy to our lives and to those who were around him.
Brayden is described by many as a gifted student on the path to college. He was on his way to a bright future. One of the things he is remembered for is the passion he had for football and always being No. 8. Brayden was a natural leader on the team and he would encourage his fellow teammates no matter what, win or lose. He was a loyal friend and teammate. Before he found his love for football, he loved to play baseball from a very young age. He was a natural and went on to share his knowledge and joy of the game with his brother Riley. Brayden was always determined to do his best at everything he did. He wasn’t afraid of hard work and he gave his all to everything he did.
Brayden was a shining light to all who knew him. He never shied away from saying “I love you.” His big beautiful smile, warm hugs and ability to make others laugh are precious gifts that will never be forgotten. His life was short but he lived it to the fullest. Brayden’s memory will live on in so many friends and family forever.
Brayden is survived by his parents, Kyle and Jessica Bolyard; his brother, Riley Bolyard; grandparents, Craig and Debbie Lamb, Rebecca Johnson, Karen Lierman-Pugh as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Brayden was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Roy John “Toby” Lierman, great-grandmother Gwendolyn Celeste Lierman and his aunt, Michelle Kendricks.
A funeral service will occur at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2023, at Celebration Church, 601 Westinghouse Road, Georgetown, Texas, 78626. There will be a reception/celebration of life at Bentwood, Texas, 8150 East State Highway 29, Georgetown, Texas, 78626 at 5:30 p.m. following services.
