Doris Mae (Randig) Nord

Doris Mae (Randig) Nord died on April 16, 2023, at the age of 84. She was born on August 31, 1938.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Randig, Sr. and Ida (Bunge) Randig; parents-in-law, Alvin Nord and Elsie (Lehman) Nord; husband, Donald Nord; eldest daughter, Linda (Nord) Bonnet; son-in-law, James (Jamie) Vanecek; brothers, Alvin Randig, Jr., and Raymond Randig; sister, Irene (Randig) Conn; sisters-in-law, Joycie Randig, and Jeanette Randig; brother-in-law, Thomas Conn, Sr.; and nieces and nephews, Kimberly Randig, Randall Randig, Trisha Sheppard and Brian Lathan.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Nord/Vanecek) George and her husband, Larry George;  son-in-law, Donald Brian Bonnet and his wife, Sheryl (Schneider) Bonnet; grandsons, Justin Bonnet and Evan Bonnet; step-granddaughter, Ashlyn (Bradford) Morris and her husband, William Morris;  and great-grandchildren, Braxtyn Bonnet, Iona Cash Bonnet, Wyatt Morris and Logan Morris.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 21, from 5-7 p.m. at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel, Georgetown. The funeral service will be at 3:00 on Saturday, April 22 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Walburg. Burial will follow the service at St. Peter Cemetery.  

The family would like to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Visiting Angels, Truewood Georgetown, Bader House of Georgetown and Hospice Austin, for all of your kind and compassionate care.
