Frank Piotrowski

Frank Piotrowski, a proud first-generation American and beloved son of Polish immigrants Aleksander and Stella Piotrowski, passed away peacefully at his home in Georgetown, Texas, on December 6, 2025. Born on November 21, 1940, he is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years, Mary Irene (Rene) Piotrowski, and their six children.

Frank honorably served his country in the U.S. Army Signal Corps from 1963 to 1967, instilling a deep sense of duty and patriotism that his two sons carried forward in their own military service.

A gifted engineer, Frank designed steel mill cranes, chemical and steel processing lines, and evaluated green energy initiatives for Fort Hood. His inventive spirit led to innovations such as air‑cushioned transport platforms for multi‑ton steel coils and the early use of computer‑based camera analysis for manufacturing quality control.

In 2009, Frank became heart transplant recipient #301 at Seton’s Heart Specialty Care and Transplant Center. His new heart remained strong through his passing, a testament to his remarkable resilience and optimism in the face of medical challenges.

For over 30 years, Frank shared his passion for learning and leadership through the Boy Scouts of America, mentoring countless young people with patience, humor, and integrity.

Frank will be remembered for his brilliance, generosity, and unwavering commitment to family and community. His legacy endures in the innovations he created and the many lives he inspired.

In the care of Cook Walden Davis Funeral Home.
