James H. Land, 82, of Round Rock, Texas, passed away on April 27, 2026.
James lived a life defined by curiosity, skill, and a love of the outdoors. He especially enjoyed dove hunting and fishing and had a lifelong passion for building and flying radio-controlled airplanes. He also loved traveling the world, always eager to explore new places and experiences.
Known to many as “Pops,” he will be remembered for his steady presence, hands-on talents, and the joy he found in both adventure and quiet moments. Those who knew him will carry forward memories of his warmth and the time he shared with others.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne Land; his son, Joe Land and wife Jennifer; his daughter, Juli Land Place and husband Shane; and his grandchildren, Ethan Land and Emma Land.
Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm at Beck Funeral Home in Round Rock, Texas on Thursday, May 7, 2026. Funeral Services will be held at 10am, Friday, July 8, 2026 at Beck Funeral Homes with burial following at Palm Valley Lutheran Church Cemetery.
