Jimmie Juanell Sylvester Johnson

Jimmie Juanell Sylvester Johnson was born In Liberty Hill, Texas on November 13, 1935, and passed on February 09, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Earnest Johnson, father Connie Lee Sylvester, mother Dora Elizabeth Sylvester, father-in-law Rev W.T. Johnson and wife Mayme Johnson.

Surviving family includes son Walter Lee Johnson and wife Suzanne, daughter Lori Nell Johnson, four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, sister Betty Wilhoit and husband Jerry.

For the last 18 months she was in the loving arms of Trinity Care Round Rock.

Juanell married the love of her life in 1953, Walter E Johnson of Austin, Texas. 

She was a charter member of Skyview Baptist Church Austin, planted and built by her father-in-law, Rev W.T. Johnson. 

Juanell and Walter enjoyed lifetime friendships with Lois and Willie Wilhelm, Rucker and Mary Hoskins, and with neighbors Treva and Earl Moore.

She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church in Georgetown.

Juanell was a diligent homemaker, loving mother, loving wife, five star baker of sweets, taxi driver to many friends and grandchildren. She loved her children and grandchildren exceedingly. Most of all she loved her Lord And Savior, Jesus Christ.

A memorial service will be held at Crestview Baptist Church Georgetown, Texas on Saturday February 28, 2026, at 10am.
