Jimmy Dale Farrow

Jimmy Dale Farrow was born April 2, 1948, to Dale and Annie Bell Sears Farrow in Bossier City, Louisiana.  After living several different places as the son of an active service member, he spent most of his younger years growing up in DeLeon.  It was here that he first discovered his love of driving trucks as well as flying. Jim graduated DeLeon High School in 1966 and went on to attend Cisco Junior College on a full ride scholarship on trumpet.  This is where he first met the love of his life, Linda Alice Graham.

In 1968, he made the decision to leave college and serve his county in Vietnam where he served as both a fire fighter and a helicopter pilot.  After returning from Vietnam in 1970, Jim and Linda got married in Cisco, and relocated to Austin where he was stationed at Bergstrom Air Force Base.  He retired from the Air Force in 1971 and joined the Texas National Guard as a helicopter pilot where he served until 2008.

During his lifetime, Jim also worked several different jobs outside of the military driving trucks, operating heavy machinery and driving charter buses.  He worked for Capital Equipment, TxDot, Harry Sikes Transportation, Joe Bland Construction and Austin Express Delivery.

Jim and Linda attended World of Pentecost for 38 years where he served as a Sunday School teacher, Bus Driver, Usher, and Choir Member.  After moving to Georgetown in 2008, they attended Life Church of Round Rock where he served as sound engineer.
