Jo Ann (Lemon) Loper
Jo Ann (Lemon) Loper passed away on October 23, 2022.
Jo Ann was born on November 19, 1947, in Big Spring. She grew up on a West Texas cotton farm in Ackerly, and attended McMurray University in Abilene. She worked for IBM, and also worked in Real Estate. Ann enjoyed garage sales and having coffee with friends. She was a quiet, hardworking person, and if you were lucky enough to get to know her, she was a true friend.
Her life centered around her son and grandchildren. She loved them dearly and would do anything for them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Martha Lemon, and a sister, Ruth Smallwood. She is survived by her son, Ras Clayton (Clay) Loper IV; two brothers, Lee
Lemon and James Lemon; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on November 19, 2022, at 11 a.m. at Ramsey Funeral Home, 5600 Williams Drive
