Lillian was born on a farm in Granger. She graduated from Granger High School in 1942 and married her soulmate Raymond W. Naizer in 1948. After raising four children, she graduated from the Nursing Program at Georgetown Hospital at the age of 48. Lillian was recognized as LVN Nurse of the Year of Texas in 1996 and honored as a 5-gallon blood donor in 2011. She dedicated 27 years to nursing and retired at 75.
Lillian lived a life of faith, family, and service. She attended mass at St. Helen’s Catholic Church and prayed the rosary daily.
Lillian was an award-winning quilter, 5k pedestrienne, teacher, gardener, cook, and baker. She loved football. A world traveler, Lillian visited South America, Central America, Asia, Europe, Canada, Mexico, and every state except North Dakota.
Lillian was proud of her heritage and read, wrote, and spoke Czech fluently. She loved dancing and singing to Czech music.
Lillian was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and
friend. She was preceded in death by her husband, one grandchild, and three great-grandchildren. She is survived by four children, 12 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held at The Gabriels Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 393 N Interstate Hwy 35 on February 11, 2026 at 7pm. Her funeral mass will be at Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 100 N Brazos St, Granger, TX on February 12 at 10am. The burial will be at IOOF Cemetery, Smith Creek Rd on February 12 at 3pm.
