Minnie Muniz Vasquez

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Minnie Muniz Vasquez, who passed away on March 4, 2026, in Taylor, Texas, at the age of 78.

Minnie was born on May 8, 1947, in Georgetown, Texas, to Jesse and Francis Muniz. She lived a life devoted to family, hard work, and serving others. Minnie worked for the Williamson County Health Department, the Texas Department of Public Safety Highway Patrol, and as a clerk at the Williamson County Courthouse. She generously gave her time to help others, volunteering with Victim Assistance and The Caring Place. Minnie loved to craft and crochet and will be remembered for her kindness, strength, humor, and faith.

She is survived by her children: Michelle Vasquez, and Eric Vasquez and wife Sheila Rene Vasquez.  She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Alysson Rae Dailey and husband John Dailey, and their children Paytin Hankins, Greyson Christian Dailey, and Emily Renee Dailey; Andrew Gordon Cornett; Tyler Nicole Cornett; Daniel Wayde Vasquez; Jessica Vasquez Briggs and husband Craig Briggs, and their children Sadie Briggs and Masen Briggs; Macey Ann Simms and husband Brian; and Katie Lee Vasquez.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Francis Muniz; her siblings, Manuel Muniz and Sandy Zavala; and her son, Rudy Lee Vasquez.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, March 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Jarrell, Texas. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate her life.
